At Fix, clients can get a blow out and a manicure and pedicure at the same time. “Our typical client is busy,” says Karol Markowicz, Fix’s co-owner. “What we’ve found is that women of all ages and all stages of life simply don’t have any time.” Markowicz opened the beauty bar with long-time friend Michelle Breskin because they always found themselves crunched for time when trying to squeeze in a weekly blowout and manicure. “A pedicure was a rare indulgence,” says Markowicz. “We wanted one place where women could go and get everything done quickly and in a luxurious setting at a moderate price.”
They currently have six stylists and four nail technicians, with plans to hire more.
