[1] Jack and Michael Megna created the Glass Glaze Fiberglass & Silk Wrap System in 1984. [2] Extreme Nail Dipper proto-types were hand-molded by company president Michael Megna. The first was created out of paper and tape, while second was molded out of clay. [3] Longtime techs may recognize some of Backscratchers' original product packaging.

The year was also a revolutionary one for the nail industry. Backscratchers Salon Systems introduced fiberglass wrap technology, changing the dynamics of the industry forever.
