Whether you’re after the tax deduction or the good karma, donating your extra products to the Beauty Bus Foundation is a good thing to do. The Beauty Bus Foundation provides in-home beauty and grooming services, free of charge, to patients whose illness or condition prevents them from accessing a salon and to their caregivers. Beauty Bus also welcomes patients and caregivers at its Pop-Up Salons.

If you’d like to help with this worthwhile endeavor, the organization accepts new and unused beauty and grooming products for visits or to provide to clients in gift bags. The foundation needs hair products, makeup, lotions, nail polish, manicure and pedicure products, facial products, and equipment (i.e., blowdryers, shears, nail files, etc.). It welcomes product donations from corporate sponsors as well, accepting products that are being repackaged or reformulated, but not expired or used. Beauty Bus will provide a donation letter for tax purposes.
