Salon professionals who have been affected by the recent flooding in Tennessee or tornados in Mississippi can apply for assistance from the PBA | NCA Disaster Relief Fund by filling out the Application for Aid available at www.ncacares.org in the Resources section.

The PBA | NCA Disaster Relief Fund was established in 1955 to assist salons in rebuilding following the devastation of a natural disaster and most recently raised and distributed more than $1 million to help salon professionals rebuild their careers and lives following Hurricane Katrina.

For those of you who want to help out your fellow beauty professionals, donations can be made to the fund online (www.ncacares.org/resources/disasterrelief.cfm), by phone (800-468-2274), or by mail. (Checks should be made payable to PBA | NCA Disaster Relief Fund and mailed to 15825 N. 71st Street, Suite 100, Scottsdale, AZ  85254.)  Contributions are tax deductible and 100% of all funds raised go directly to beauty industry professionals in need.
