Staff My Salon is an online job website exclusively for the salon industry. A former nail tech and salon owner, Karen Kaminski was working as a sales rep when she grew frustrated that she was unable to help her salon clients when it came to the difficult area of staffing. “Traditional recruiting tools currently do not serve the specific needs of the professional salon industry,” she says. That’s why she created Staff My Salon.

The site allows salon owners to build a detailed profile and advertise open positions that can be viewed by qualified applicants. Salon professionals can post a professional profile either privately or publicly that can be searched by interested salons. “Experienced salon professionals often find it difficult to explore employment opportunities in their area,” she says. “The private posting option ensures confidentiality for the applicant.”
