How much would it be worth to you to have clients pay up to two months in advance? Kim Hanzlik, owner of Nails, Hands, Feet and Toes in Winnemucca, Nev., offers clients the option of paying in advance and discounts their service by $5 as an incentive. “The major advantage of prepayment is I never have to worry about getting paid if the client doesn’t show up,” says Hanzlik, who has gotten several longtime enhancement clients on board. “I have found that prepay works for both of us. They really like doing it that way because they don’t have to bring cash or a checkbook every time. Keep in mind these ladies are die-hard schedule keepers and they don’t want to miss an appointment.”  “It’s worked beautifully so far,” she says.
