A cyber-visitor to Alley Way Nails & Tanning’s website can browse the salon menu, get the latest retail special, learn how to prevent fungus, and even sign the virtual guest book. Nail technician Donna Rodriguez’s Stroudsburg, Pa., salon has been online for about six months, educating the public and bringing in three new clients to the salon in that time. Rodriguez built the site herself, relying on some helpful software and an online course in website design. Rodriguez also uses the laptop computer that sits at her workstation to present a nail art is not a service she currently offers, she knows when the time comes her clients will be primed to go. To tour the salon yourself, check it out at http://www.comevisit.com/alleyway/.
