My colors are red and beige. I love these colors together. Originally I had pink with a southwest theme, but when the times called for a change I opted for a more upscale color palette. The walls were painted beige and I did a sponge effect over them. (Actually I used plastic grocery store bags; they worked great and there was no clean up.) The red is warm and rich. Because my salon is high-end I needed to convey this feeling throughout the salon. Around the pedicure station I have added a poppy print fabric drape to separate the pedicure units and tie in the colors. I also have a poppy print picture on the wall and poppy appliqués on one wall.
