The International Nail Technicians (INTA) announced the appointment of Doug Schoon to serve as chief scientific advisor for the 800-member association. He will work with INTA on issues affecting products, services, and techniques in beauty or nail salons and spas.

Founder of Schoon Scientific + Regulatory Consulting, Schoon is an internationally known scientist, educator, and author with more than 30 years experience in the beauty and personal care industry. He is known for his work as co-chair of the Nail Manufacturers Council and as the leader of CND’s research and development laboratory for almost 20 years.
