The gang at Salon Soca use a Roll the Dice promotion to encourage clients to pre-book their next appointment.

At Chicago’s Salon Soca, clients who pre-book their next appointment are given the opportunity to roll a 20-sided die. The number rolled becomes the percentage off that client’s retail purchase at the pre-booked appointment. “I’ve been running our Roll the Dice promotion for the last 11 years,” says salon owner Brigette Sobus. “It’s interactive and fun for the stylists and their clients. It allows the service providers to practice pre-booking, rewards your clients, and also drives retail sales.”

Sobus estimates that 70% of her clients participate in the promotion and most follow through by purchasing retail items.
