On the Road: Oxygenix Nail Spa

NAILS sent our student blogger Tisha Allen — who, as of this issue, will be a newly licensed nail tech — to find a clean and professional nail salon in her area for those days that she needs a little pampering for herself. This new West Palm Beach, Fla., resident discovered Oxygenix, a nail spa located just steps away from her home.

> I made an appointment with Oxygenix lead nail artist Lisa Le. I got a basic pedicure, and the foot scrub and massage was truly relaxing. Le is the younger sister of Oxygenix owner, Tina Le, who has been a longtime manicurist for tennis player Serena Williams.

> Oxygenix prides itself in providing a full-service nail experience, and also offers waxing, skin care services, and lash enhancements. Most of the staff — more than 15 nail technicians — are also full specialists. Some specialize in acrylic application, others in hard gel and gel-polish application, and most offer nail art. Oxygenix is known for 3-D and hand-painted nail art.

> Oxygenix offers text message advanced appointment bookings for their clients. Some of their special services and products include Dead Sea salt pedicures, CND acrylics, Bio Sculpture Gel gel-polish, Next Gen, and OPI and Essie traditional polishes.

Oxygenix keeps tidy and organized at the UV sterilization station and acrylic and NexGen bar.

The pedicure stations are made semi-private with the use of decorative bead curtains.

Oxygenix provides numerous color swatches for clients to choose from.
