Favorite website for nail art inspiration: www.neiru.me “I joined Neiru last year and love learning new Japanese nail art techniques. It’s a refreshing style of nail art that is making its way to the states via Jasmine Oshima (the creator of Neiru and owner of Oshima Nails). Although she prefers to use subtitles, her teaching style is graceful and poignant through the clear and concise weekly tutorials. Neiru challenges the artists by offering monthly competitions that award great prizes from Akzéntz, as well as fun homework assignments that we can use on our clients. All Neiru members can chat together on a private Facebook page where we share our nail art creations and post troubleshooter questions. Jasmine often includes fun informative nail media supplements such as nail art templates, how to make a nail blog, and creative nail art e-books. A few times a year Neiru opens up its school doors to the world and offers a complimentary workshop for nail techs to see what we are doing inside Neiru. You can try it out for just $4 and tuition rate packages are super affordable. Being a member has reminded me how special this industry really is.”
