Office life here at NAILS Magazine is changing rapidly, and I must admit for the better. What at one time was a small, dedicated, but overworked staff has now grown with the addition of three key personalities and positions into an excellent team that continues to take on and demand additional responsibilities.

All departments are running efficiently, are well organized and intermingling extremely well. Our new employees represent not just an immediate need to maintain this efficiency, although that was a primary concern, but importantly a long term commitment to reinforcing the formula and format that has made NAILS Magazine a success.

Mary Poissant has joined us in a business/front office capacity. It is her background in business and her personality that will enable us to easily and efficiently handle the magazine's next stage of growth.

Suzi Hernandez has recently joined the magazine in a key advertising sales role. Her experience in advertising, both in sales and customer service, and her personable style has already made her an invaluable asset.

Also, editorial needs and demands will be emphasized and fulfilled with the addition of Heidi Fron. Her extensive background in journalism and communication will enable Heidi to take on the editorship of NAILS Magazine, and to assume a role of responsibility and decision making regarding format, content and direction. Heidi most recently came from the marketing department of Times Mirror Cable Television, where her responsibilities included manager of programming and contract administration and coordination of cable TV program guides. She holds a B.S, in journalism from Southern Illinois University, and an M.S. in communication theory from the University of Illinois.

These additions have added an element of excitement at the office, and a further solid working atmosphere. I am proud to introduce these new personalities, and very proud of my entire team.
