TEASHI
The Asian-influenced, French-styled decor of San Francisco’s Teashi (which means “hands and feet” in Japanese) is one of the most striking elements of the salon, but owners Anne and Bill Freeman also pride themselves on the salon’s cleanliness. They had their own spa-style chairs built, and the chairs use porcelain sink with fresh running water, which eliminates the chance of water re-circulating.
YUKI SHARONI BEAUTY & LIFESTYLE
The manicure and pedicure area of Yuki Sharoni Beauty & Lifestyle is far removed from the rest of the salon. Above the buzz of hairdryers, the second-floor nail area is outfitted with an extra-long couch for manicures. Another set of thicker drapes encloses the room where the tech prepares items for the service.
