SASSI, the Salon and Spa Specialty Insurance agency, is offering workers’ compensation insurance coverage for salons, day spas, electrologists, beauty schools, and barber shops. Available through RTW, Inc., the CompConnect program is available in most states. To meet the needs of small to mid-size salons and spas, premiums begin at $500 annually and range up to a maximum annual premium of $25,000.

“SASSI has offered specialized liability and property coverage to the beauty industry for many years and we’re pleased to be able to serve more of the industry’s insurance needs with our new workers’ compensation program,” says Sean Brownyard, executive program manager for SASSI.
