Styling Technology Corp. has taken two giant steps forward in its quest to become “a true ‘one-stop-shop’ for brand name professional salon products.” The Phoenix-based company acquired Pro Finish USA, Ltd., just one week after announcing plans to purchase European Touch Company and European Touch II, Ltd.

Styling Technology paid approximately $5 million in cash for Pro Finish, which manufactures the Kizmit, Infiniti, and Cosmic brands. “Pro Finish represents an important milestone in our plans for subconsolidation in the nail care category," says Sam Leopold, chairman/president/CEO of Styling Technology. Pro Finish's former president Kurt Kittleson will stay on with the corporation as vice president of nail products, overseeing all of the company's nail lines.

Styling Technology agreed to pay a cash purchase price of approximately $25 million for the two European Touch entities. European Touch II, established in 1985, offers whirlpool foot spas including the Omni Spa. European Touch Company produces popular professional nail products such as Revivanail and Theracreme.

Previsou acquisitions by the company include Gena Laboratories, Alpha 9, and Body Drench.
