It’s not every day one turns the big 3-0, and when Tweezerman did they wanted to celebrate with some of their closest friends … and lots of tools for eye-catching eyebrows, meticulous manicures, pristine pedicures, and fabulous feet. The company commemorated its 30th anniversary with an intimate luncheon at West Hollywood’s swank Sunset Tower Hotel in November. Guests included editors, publishers, and sales representatives.

“We are firmly entrenched in and embraced by the industry, and this milestone underlines it. We couldn’t be more excited about our birthday,” said president and CEO Dr. Cornelia Wittke. “The brand began with a pair of tweezers and has expanded into a full range of beauty tools for brows, lashes, manicures, and pedicures. We have exciting growth plans for the future and will keep wowing beauty professionals with top-quality tools and exciting innovations.”

Tweezerman started out in 1980 with the Splintertweeze, and grew exponentially shortly after it released the Tweezerman Slant, which is still a bestseller for the company. The products continue to be made with the finest steel, and the company offers products in each price variance to suit every market.

Dr. Wittke discussed two promotions Tweezerman is doing in 2011: The company will be donating $1 for every Star Bright Mini Slant Tweezer purchased and 50 cents for every Star Bright Zip File bought to the Starlight Children’s Foundation. It will also release a special-edition Hot for Dots Mini Slant Tweezers and Matchbox Itty Bitty Files.
