Gels continued their recent boom at Cosmoprof North America. There were more soak-off gels, more colored gels, and at least 10 companies showcasing the hottest trend right now — brush-on gel polish lines.
Reveal by Hand and Nail Harmony are UV- or LED-cured gels that bond to the natural nail using a fused keratin bonding system without the use of harsh acids for retention. With whites, clears, and pinks, these gels can define any look, and with the faster cure times of LED lights techs can save up to 20 minutes on total service time.

The Premiere Orlando International Beauty Event again proved itself as a vibrant beauty show, with more than 46,000 attendees present during the two-day show (which took place June 6 to 7). The show featured 350-plus classes, nail competitions, and NailTech Network Orlando (which was co-hosted by Beautytech.com and NAILS). Next year’s show will be June 4-6.
