On Friday, April 27th, the NAILS Magazine Editorial and Graphics team were recognized for journalism and design excellence at the 56th annual Western Publications Association (WPA) Maggie awards ceremony.
Winners were announced in 22 categories including Nail Enhancement Artist and Nail Art Technician.
NAILS Magazine was honored to win Best Single Sponsor piece from the Western Publications Association at the 54th Annual Maggie Awards on April 22, 2005.
Darlene Johnston from Hagersville, Ontario earns 2003 Canadian Nail Technician of the Year award.
After 15 years as a nail technician and owner of The Nail Shoppe in Toronto, Canada, Debbie Krakalovich was due for some recognition.
Although only one technician walked with the top honor, all nail care professionals had cause to celebrate the recognition they have gained at NAHA.
It is especially gratifying to be presented with a Who’s Who Readers’ Choice Award because the honor comes from the people who actually use the products.
