April 2014's InStyle magazine tested products to see if they really work. Mischo's Luxury Nail Lacquer claims "green," and "all-natural." The testers ensured that while not totally green, these polishes are five-free, meaning they don't have formaldehyde, or formaldehyde resin, camphor, tolune, or dibutyl phthalate (DBP). Manicurist Madeline Poole gives the polish a two thumbs up for coverage, shine and the shape of the brush. InStyle testers were disappointed about quickly their nails chipped, but with a paper-heavy office job, chipping might be unavoidable.
