Polished Girlz founder Alanna Wall never ceases to amaze. Working her third Fashion Week, she concepted and designed the nail looks for models to wear at the Raul Penaranda show. She and the designer met after he saw her on Ellen. He believed in the Polished Girlz organization and invited Alanna to do nails at his show.
Wall came up with four nail looks and inspired by the fabrics in Penaranda’s collection. She used Sally Hansen products with a lot of shimmer to create nails that had as much movement as Penaranda’s dreamy dresses.
A team of two nail techs helped Wall achieve the desired nail looks. Her mentor and celebrity nail tech Mr. Luis was also on hand to help out and provide moral support.
As an added perk, Wall had some very special guests attending the show with her. Orange is the New Black star Dascha Polanco, reality star Tahiry Jose, and Valerie Lora posed with Wall and Mr. Luis then stayed to see the Fashion Show.
