JoAnn Har, a nail technician in Hod Hasharon, Israel, gives her clients a little something extra, and it doesn’t cost her a cent. Har preached the owners of a nearby jewelry store will a proposition: If they would give her one of their jewelry cleaners with their stores name on it, she would display it publicly in her salon. The value of this advertising was not lost on the store owners, who readily agreed.
