Be Bold With Your Guarantee

1 min to read

“I’ve offered an unconditional guarantee on my work for years,” says salon owner and industry consultant Tammy Dennis. “But in all that time, I’ve only been asked to make corrections a handful of times, and I’ve only had to give a refund twice.” She advises other salon owners to take a page out of her book and adopt her slogan, “You’ll love it or it’s free!”

The risk of clients taking advantage of the guarantee is small compared to its value as a marketing tool, she says. “People will choose you over your competitors just for your guarantee. Display it prominently on your business cards and all your marketing materials, and put signs up at your front desk and all stations.”
