Following the success of its free membership offer to beauty salons and spas in 2017, CIDESCO will be extending the offer into 2018, offering a year of free membership to those that meet the CIDESCO Section Association's entry and inspection requirements. The offer is available to salons and spas which take out membership during 2018. Those applying will still be required to pay the one-time application and inspection fee.
Founded in 1946, CIDESCO is an international association dedicated to establishing and upholding the highest standards for beauty and spa therapy all over the world. CIDESCO is represented in 40 countries across five continents, and promotes the exchange of professional knowledge through marketing events and their annual International Congress. Members of CIDESCO enjoy benefits including invitation to the annual CIDESCO World Congress, as well as access to educational documentation and professional papers through the CIDESCO Knowledgebase, admission to workshops at the National and International Congresses, an online magazine, and access to a community of CIDESCO students and graduates.

Furthermore, salons and spas with membership have the opportunity to display the CIDESCO plaque in their business as a mark of their membership and high standards of operation.
