Bodipure offers a line of foot care products by Italian brand LakShmi. Called Pada, it draws on the traditional wisdom of Ayurveda, aromatherapy, and other natural healing systems. This specialized treatment is based on the dosha skin types: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha (the three metabolic types in Ayurvedic medicine). Select the massage oil that matches your client’s type:

Vata: Feet that suffer from Vata problems may be cold, dry, rough, chapped, with deep cuts on the heels and with corns.

Pitta: Feet that suffer from Pitta problems may perspire excessively, be ill-smelling, inflamed, or hot, with dilated capillaries around the malleolus [ankle bones].

Kapha: Feet that suffer from Kapha problems may be swollen and feel heavy or clammy.

Foot creams are also available based on foot type:

Vata: Angelica Root essential oil is recommended for stressed and chapped skin.

Pitta: Geranium Rose essential oil benefits irritated and inflamed skin.
