Genbook Makes Online Reviewing Easy

Imagine having a receptionist working to grow nail salon clientele 24/7, costing less than a dollar per day. That’s how the folks at Genbook describe their online appointment scheduling software. Genbook not only frees salon staff from the tiresome task of scheduling (no more phone or e-mail tag), but also helps in other ways including:

> Sending appointment reminders

> Giving customers the convenience of booking an appointment anytime

> Helping to increase online customer reviews

> Managing high-traffic booking, like a Groupon offer

> Helping to reduce no-shows

Jessica Hoel, owner of LuvNailz in Lynnwood, Wash., has been using Genbook for almost two years. “I don’t have to spend precious time booking appointments or making reminder calls,” she says. “Plus after appointments, the system sends an e-mail asking if they would like to write a review. I’ve received lots of new clients based on reviews that others have written and it’s free with the service. It’s easier than using Yelp and still comes up in searches.” She receives text messages from Genbook with appointment reminders and notifications when a new appointment is booked. “Plus it’s always synced with the system so I can glance at my calendar anytime,” she says.
