The Toronto-based nail, skin, and waxing chain offers a complimentary toe wax with every pedicure service. “About 70% of our pedicure clients will opt for the toe wax,” says Erin Montgomery, The Ten Spot’s community manager. “We offer the service as a little something extra. Most of us have pesky toe fuzz that we often just quickly shave off in the shower. We thought it would be a great extra to offer clients. They are already getting their toes done — having the toes waxed just completes the overall experience.” The much-appreciated service takes less than a minute to perform and ensures lasting loyalty.
Square data shows that regular customers tip 11% higher and are shared across 32% of businesses in the same ZIP code, driving thousands of dollars in additional revenue per connection.
