How Nail Professionals Should Wear and Care for PPE

So many swirling feelings are surrounding our industry and the greatest of these is fear. Fear for our income, fear for our business, and fear for everyone’s safety. One fear that we can take control of is fear for our safety. One of my clients is a nurse and I asked her to join me on an Instagram Live to talk to the industry about PPE (Personal Protection Equipment). Because while it is being shoved at us, we are being told to wear it. A lot of us have worn gloves for years, but there are aspects of them that many of us are either clueless about or have not been doing correctly or as carefully as we should be. I will be the first to admit I do not remove my gloves the way she taught us! The Live has been recorded so that if you missed it you can see it, if you watched it you can see it again to catch anything you missed and if you know someone that would benefit from it you can share. We deliberately kept the Live itself brand free so there would be no reason that absolutely everyone couldn’t share it freely. The idea is safety for everyone in our industry so I am also providing you with some graphics that you can use as you see fit. They can be printed as reminders, you can save them to your phones, they have been created FOR YOU!

Be safe out there!
