Sherri’s space is located inside Studio 203, a full-service salon.

Minutes after landing at Kauai’s Lihue Airport, tourists and Hawaiians alike can enjoy laid back island living by visiting Sherri’s Nails.

That’s me (center) with nail tech of 20 years, Sherri Caneda (left) and my friend Yayoi Aoyama (right), who just received her first manicure.

> CND Grand Master Sherri Caneda is a Kauai native and offers a full nail menu including nail art and LCN’s Foot Care system inside her space.

This vent was installed right next to Sherri’s station for added ventilation.

> While Kauai may be thought of as the more untouched of Hawaii’s islands, Caneda keeps up with the nail community by going to the other islands for continued education and being active on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Nail Art Gallery, and Snapchat).

Caneda carries these Gel II Reaction gel-polishes that all have Hawaiian-inspired names.

> Gel-polish  is Caneda’s most popular service. She offers selections from Gelish, CND, Gel II, and OPI.

> Nail art is another one of Caneda’s specialties. At the time of my visit she was sporting graduation nail art in honor of her nephew’s high school graduation.
