Light Elegance has just reformulated its P2 UV Polish to remove the solvents that were once in it. This makes the product less prone to solvent evaporation, which causes gel polish to thicken.  “The additional benefit is the P2 will have little to no odor compared to other gel polish systems that contain solvents, making P2 more similar to our regular gel polish,” says Jim McConnell, president of the Redmond, Ore.-based company. The absence of solvents also means the gel is no longer considered dangerous to ship.
