As a response to the global COVID-19 crisis, Milady, a part of Cengage, has launched a complimentary two-hour Infection Control Certification program, available worldwide, for any current/future professional. With the majority of US states and countries not requiring this content as a continuing education requirement, this course will allow professionals review infection control best practices and help them alleviate consumer fears as businesses begin to reopen.

This certification course includes essential information from the current Milady four-hour Infection Control course, which is approved in many states with online continuing education (CE), including Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, North Carolina, Washington D.C., and West Virginia. Also available on their website, www.miladytraining.com, is a comprehensive PDF with general guidelines for reopening salons/spas/barbershops (note: business owners and professionals should always follow their local laws/regulations).
