The Gary Sperling Florida Expo ’86, scheduled for the middle of next month, promises to be an exciting, professional, industry and product showcase.

With more than 100 booths and a complete schedule of competitions, the Florida show has also established an educational program that includes technique and business related seminars. Libby Huggins, educational director and director of the Florida Cosmetology board, will highlight the program with an update on the current licensing rules and regulations in that state.

“In fact,” added Gary, “the mayor of Orlando and the governor of Florida have both proclaimed July 20-21 as ‘Nails Days’ in honor of the show.”

In addition to his program of competitions, directed by Julie Baltierra, Sperling has expanded the format to include an “open nail art” category where all nail decoration is allowed.

“This category has been opened up to airbrush art as well,” said Gary, “and we hope to have quite a few exciting, colorful and artistic entries.”

“This is the perfect opportunity for the salon owner/technician and their family to combine business and pleasure at the exciting vacation resort of Epcot Center and Disney World,” concluded Gary.
