Candice Everest, owner of Panache Nail Studio in Stanwood, Wash., bowls clients over with her sanitation-conscious procedures — not to mention her organizational abilities. “I use little trays with covers (from a dental supply house) that I prepare in advance for each service,” she says. “Each one contains a tray liner, file, implements used, nail brush, nail wipes, gloves, etc. During a client’s first service I point out that when I sanitize the implements they go straight into the setup trays and are never touched again until used during a service, so it’s very sanitary.”
