America's Beauty Show takes place at a time when new product announcements are not as common as at the summer tradeshows. But NAILS editors found plenty of interesting activity by asking exhibitors what they were seeing in terms of buyer activity.
CND used the show to educate beauty media on how the SPA Collection helps nail techs upgrade their pedicure services incrementally using one, two or all of the products in the line.

CND also officially announced the launch of Creative Play, a new line of traditional polish with a generous array of 80 highly pigmented colors.

Famous Names introduced a cinnamon scented nail surface sanitizer appropriately named, Cinnatize. It’s a one step cleanser and pathogen remover used to scrub nail plates before application. It’s powered by cinnamon leaf extract that fights surface bacteria.

Lexor introduced Envision, a pedi spa that features an acetone resistant base and fully functional power seats, a purse hook (we love this!), and massage system. Operated via a digital control system (remote), it also include a new Aurora LED color-changing bowl and has an auto-fill system.
EZ Flow's Allison Ross says their colored acrylics for pink-and-whites continue to be a huge seller.
At the EzFlow booth, Allison Ross pointed out the Master Artist kit, which has been updated with nail art gels that have more concentrated color. She also mentioned the company's wide range of colored acrylics and the HD pinks continue to do really well, especially the relatively new Striking Pink.
