On Saturday, March 21, the beauty industry united to posthumously honor Pivot Point International’s founder Leo Passage. The hairstylist and cosmetology school founder was an advocate for continuing education and he was selected by Beauty Changes Lives (BCL) to receive this year’s Legacy Award for revolutionizing the business of beauty education.

Beauty professionals braved the snow for America’s Beauty Show in Chicago on March 21-23 at McCormick Place. Events included the Beauty Changes Lives fashion presentation honoring Leo Passage, an emphasis on healthy living, a day for students, and a cameo by members of the Backstreet Boys. Plan on attending this show next year March 12-14, 2016.
America’s Beauty Show 2015 ended last Monday in Chicago, but the nail art is still fresh on our minds. While there was virtually every color of hair imaginable on the show floor, nail artists took it to the next level by bedecking their nails to show dazzling results.
