How exactly are silk wraps done, and are they only applied to natural nails?
Silk can be used as an overlay if the client comes in with thin or damaged nails. In this case, use it prior to tip application to create a stronger base for the tip.
The most important thing to remember when considering silk is its tensile strength is less than that of fiberglass, so it’s recommended for active length nail enhancements.
