Social Media Campaign Honors Team’s Talents

At a recent weekly huddle, Brown and DeLine Salon owner Cathy Brown-Issel and marketing director Tiffany Kailimai came up with an idea that helped team members identify their unique gifts and share them with the salon’s guests. The idea — a “share your gift” social media campaign — also earned the Ann Arbor, Mich., salon a 2017 STAMP award from Salon Today.

Each stylist had a picture taken with a placard announcing her gift, and the pictures were shared on the salon’s social media pages, as well as through each team member’s page. “During the campaign, our average post reach was 1,000 people, more than twice our average reach,” says Brown-Issel. “Our overall goal of reaching clients and increasing our social media presence was well received, and we all had fun participating.”
