Not only is Megan DiMartino the creator of the Novita Clinicals line of skin care and spa manicure/pedicure products, she’s the proud owner of Georgetown, Texas-based Novita Spa on the Square, a thriving day spa. Her success is evident: In 2005 she launched the first Novita Spa. This past spring she moved the spa two doors down, expanding from 850-sq.-ft. to 3,500-sq.-ft. “We have been doubling our treatment sales each month since we opened the new location,” says DiMartino. Plus, the spa’s retail is well above the national average at about 25%-30% of gross sales each month. “Not only are the technicians on a commission program for retail but they are on a bonus program for referral sales of other department treatments,” she says.
DiMartino attributes her success largely to her Special Pampering Attitude (S.P.A.) concept. “From the moment the client is greeted with a hello on the phone when setting up her appointment to when she is checking out and receiving her spa dollars, we set ourselves above.” Now, through the Novita Clinicals Spa Affiliate Program, you can benefit from her experience and replicate her success. Aimed both at new and current salon owners, “The affiliate program enables the spa or salon to maintain its own identity and do what it does best, while we assist with front desk procedures, hiring and training of all staff, payroll, all marketing needs, retailing, etc.,” says DiMartino.
