Week 5: NSI
Forming the ’50s
In 1957, NSI founder Thomas Slack earned a patent for the nail form. For this week’s challenge, our Top 8 will be using nail forms to sculpt a design in acrylic or gel that harkens back to the 1950s.
Creating a ’50s-inspired design using nail forms on each finger, we asked our Top 8 to create a look on at least one full hand (of an actual person). In addition, we asked them to shoot step-by-step photos of their nail looks and upload them to their Nail Art Gallery profiles and pin the looks on Pinterest. They can use any products they want as long as they sculpt nail enhancements using forms.
Week 5′s challenge winner will receive the following products from NSI (a $370 value):
• Polish Pro Sample Kit
• Attraction Pro Kit
• Balance Pro Kit
• Stiletto Forms
• Edge Tips
• Nail Art ‘My Little Secret’ Kit
• The winner will also receive the opportunity to be featured in an upcoming NSI ad and the company’s website.
