Lulu Desfassiaux (@luludesfassiauxofficial) is the International Global Master Artist and Educator for EzFlow, as well as a multiple competition champion. She is known for her meticulous nail art and execution. At trade shows, you can find her teaching, sharing techniques, and showing off stellar nail designs that she packs in cases, featuring hundreds of nail tips. Desfassiaux has been doing nails for 26 years, so it’s no surprise she found a clever technique to cut her cover shoot design time down by using a nail form as a stencil.

Here are Desfassiaux’s steps for this month’s cover look:

1. Build an almond nail with EzFlow HD Acrylic Cover Pink.

2. Glaze the nail with EzFlow TruGel in Black on Black and add TruGel Matte It! Adhere the nail forms cut into different shapes. Using a sponge and gel paint, dab over the nail form cutouts.  Once slightly dry, peel the nail form stencils and cure nails for 30 seconds.

3. Add neon color powder pigments and cure for two minutes. Brush away any excess pigment powders.
