New Survey Shows 33% of Women Have Been to a Spa

A poll by Spa-addicts.com reveals what women really think of the spa experience.

According to a national survey commissioned by discount spa site Spa-Addicts.com and conducted by Harris Interactive, only 33% of women have ever been to a spa. Of the women who've indulged, 88% think spas are too expensive and 69% perceive them as primarily for the wealthy. Others feel guilty pampering themselves or feel unsure of what to expect at the spa. Spa-addicts.com's Mary Blackmon believes that education on the benefits and etiquette of spa treatments will increase their popularity. 

Here are some other notable stas, about both spa-going women and those who stay away.

Aside from the actual treatment, why do you go to a spa?
