Around the World in Three Pedicures

by NAILS Magazine | August 13, 2010 | Bookmark +

With the release of Eat, Pray, Love today — the movie adaptation of the memoir of the same name, in which a newly divorced Elizabeth Gilbert travels through Italy, India, and Indonesia on a journey of self-discovery — I thought it was appropriate that I received a press release in my inbox with the subject line of “Take Clients on a Journey to Indonesia with Ritual Alami Bath & Body Products.” A Universal Companies brand, Ritual Alami offers a range of handmade spa products using raw ingredients indigenous to Indonesia. Botanicals, roots, and grains are taken directly from the source, then sun dried, chopped, ground, wok roasted, sifted, and infused. The line includes body masks, salt polishes, sugar scrubs, body scrubs, bath soaks, body butters, massage butters, cleansing bars, and exfoliation bars.

Why not take advantage of the buzz surrounding this movie and launch themed pedicures for all three featured countries? Our website will even provide you with the service recipes (some of which only require a trip to your local grocery store):
