SpaRitual Reaches Out in Local Community

In an effort to reach out to the local community, members of the SpaRitual team visited with the Los Angeles-based environmental non-profit organization, TreePeople, for an afternoon of ecological/sustainability education and volunteerism. In addition to hands-on activities, team members learned more about our physical impact on the environment and how the TreePeople organization strives to change the community in a positive meaningful way.

For more than 35 years, TreePeople has supported the people of Los Angeles County to grow the urban forest and aims to unite the power of trees, people, and technology to grow a sustainable future for the city. Committed to inspiring people to take personal responsibility for their urban environment, while making it safe, healthy and fun, they hope to share the process as a model for the world.

As a company, SpaRitual is committed to creating eco-friendly products (and packaging) consciously crafted for the enlightened consumer. In addition to the fact that all of SpaRitual’s products free of DBP, toluene, formaldehyde, and formaldehyde resin, SpaRitual consistently monitors their own sustainability practices and strives to be on the cutting edge of environmental awareness.

Closely tied to its company philosophy and inspired by Earth’s precious resources, SpaRitual has created the “Love Your Planet” nail lacquer collection. Not only do the two exclusive shades feature micro-crystallized particles, the packaging features a fully recyclable paper insert embedded with seeds. All you have to do is plant, water, and grow!

Shel Pink, SpaRitual founder, says, “The history of the TreePeople organization demonstrates a powerful story SpaRitual believes in — how every human being can live a more sustainable life.”
