It just takes a smile to demonstrate the impact a pair of faux lashes can have. On November 21 at the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills, Calif., eight young ladies were treated to a day of pampering organized by Wish Upon A Teen, a non-profit dedicated to helping teens. The teenagers, who are patients of the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA where they battle cancer, received facials, manicures, and makeup application including Ardell Lashes.
Makeup artist Lindsey Forrest had a variety of styles on hand for the teens. The young ladies learned how to apply lashes and got to choose their style from natural faux flare to fun and funky fringe. In addition to lashes, the makeup team used Ardell Brow Defining Palettes in Medium and the Duo Brow Brush to create and define the brows on the young ladies who had lost theirs due to cancer treatments.
