IBS Las Vegas: CND’s New Nail Art Additives

International Beauty Show Las Vegas attendees were encouraged to try CND’s new line of pure pigments and effects at their Additives nail bar.

Additives can be mixed into clear gel or mixed into acrylic powders. However, when used with Shellac, it should only be used above the tacky layer after your layer of Shellac has cured.

At the nail bar, CND educator Lisa Wong mixed Green, Yellow, Titanium, and Green Sparkle Additives together to create a custom blend. Then she dropped her mixture into a clear gel and applied the color to her nail tip.

Wong created the art on her own nails using three different Additive pigments on top of Purple Purple Shellac. Blue Additive was applied at the cuticle line, Hot Pink applied to the center, and then the whole nail was dusted with Pink Gold Sparkle. You can watch a nail art video using the Additives on NAILStv.
