Some of you may recall the video of the FB Live viewing of the presentation I gave at the NW Nail Tech Event this past year about making sure your price is right. Recently one tech from that night was brave enough to share with fellow nail professionals on Facebook that taking the advice in that presentation to heart has changed her business. For those of you who also took the leap, I would love to hear your stories, and for those who weren’t ready, this is a new year and another chance at change this fall.

Here is her post, unedited, for you to read and consider. I am so proud of her!

Hello! I haven't posted an update since changing my service menu/prices after Nail Camp! Today, I was finally able to sit down and look at the numbers. I’m sharing this pretty private information with you because I'm still in disbelief....

October services performed: 82 October gross sales: $2273
(Price change went into effect mid-November)

November services performed: 65 November sales: $2555
I also took four days off during November for the holiday!

December services performed: 43 December sales: $2615
I took Christmas Eve through New Year's Day off!

It's now late January. I've been able to shave Wednesday off my regular schedule and I'm STILL making more than I was back in October! I haven't lost many clients, although it looks like it. They're all stretching their time between visits from two weeks to three or four weeks.

This has allowed me to grow the number of new clients I get to meet, and my new prices are attracting women who are more appreciative of the fact that I use quality products and utilize safe practices than whether or not I can duplicate a Pinterest photo...

I can't thank Jessica Briarmoon and Holly L Schippers enough for all the information and inspiration they provided at the retreat. You have given me LIFE, and reignited the spark of why I started this career in the first place.

I LOVE my nail tech fam. You're all amazing, and supportive, and inspiring.
