If you do a quick search of #BNST on your favorite social medial platform, chances are good you will see a lot of photos of a really great time! The Best Lil’ Nail Show Texas is a wonderful networking event with a positive industry vibe. You have everything from a fun and interactive welcome party to the only official Nailympia competitions in the United States. Lots of the industry’s beloved brands are there to tackle your questions and perform demos. There are also classes available over the course of three days even though the show itself is a single-day event.

This was Minney's winning contest entry.

The welcome party this year rolled out with the theme of Boot Scootin’ Boogie. You were given the option to do nails to complement your boots in an effort to win $400 cash! The winner almost didn’t enter due to nerves — that just goes to show we are always our own worst critics and should most definitely TRY things.

The Boogie also had a live band and a Texas-style BBQ spread that was delicious and true to form. If you’ve ever had BBQ in Texas then you know what I mean; if you haven’t, put having BBQ in Texas on your bucket list.

The Boot Scootin’ Boogie featured a live band, The Grooves, that covered a wide variety of music.
