A nail art design, especially 3-D art, can be a great way to showcase just how talented you are as a tech. This tassel display, from Oksana Cobb, is elegantly framed for any customer to see. The item can be a great conversation piece as well, helping to inspire clients to allow their creatively-talented techs more freedom to try more nail art designs.

Here’s how Cobb crafted these nails:

1. Make a clear acrylic or gel nail in a stiletto shape and use a 180-grit file together with a 220-grit file to refine the shape. Buff it, then cover the surface with a nude acrylic color.

2. Glue seven white-glitter stones vertically up the middle of the nail.

3. Decorate the nail with a comma-like design on both sides with a pure white sculpting acrylic.

4. Embellish the design with tiny golden or silver decorative dots. Cover with top coat for additional and long lasting shine.

Finish your display by surrounding the mounted nails with a gold braid and tassel in a matching frame.
