1. Apply base color and allow it to dry. Using a small art brush and dark red or brown polish, paint slightly wavy vertical lines from the smile line to the tip.

  

2. Repeat, painting the lines horizontally across the vertical lines.

  

3. Repeat steps two and three, using white polish.

  

4. Paint a few gold horizontal and vertical lines, and a gold line along the smile line

  

5. Apply clear top coat.
