1. Start with a white base of either gel or traditional polish.

  

2. Thin a small amount of pastel-colored polish with acetone. Using an art brush, dip into the thinned polish and tap over the nail to create a splatter paint effect.

  

3. Repeat the splatter pattern with various pastel-colored polishes.

  

4. Using black craft paint and a thin brush, start in the center and create a rose with petals that are curved lines, thin on the ends and thicker in the middle. Repeat the petals to enlarge the rose.

  

5. Add leaves and detail as desired. Finish with a clear top coat.
